As a sustainability company Universal Resource Recovery is committed to being a good corporate citizen because we know that the prosperity of a community requires the participation not only of residents but also the support of the companies that operate there.

Whether it’s through our active membership in the Welland Pelham Chamber of Commerce, our support of Welland Pelham Community Living or our contributions to numerous good causes throughout our community including Niagara’s Community Garden Network, Universal Resource Recovery is dedicated to contributing to a strong and vibrant Welland.

Sponsorships & Donations

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, Universal Resource Recovery supports our local community through sponsorships and donations.

Of particular focus for URR, are projects that focus on recycling, the environment, agriculture, beautification, and other initiatives that match the business we’re in.

Recently Universal Resource Recovery provided compost and mulch for Niagara’s Community Garden Network.  With over a dozen community gardens across Niagara, the Community Garden Network provides fresh produce for people in need while providing them with the pride of having grown it themselves.
